My goal as a chiropractor is to improve the quality of life for my patients and help them maintain that improvement, no matter the age. This not only includes reducing pain, but restoring function to injured areas of the body. Whilst preventative care plays an essential role in my management, I aim to reduce people’s aches and pains, getting them back on track with their lives. My first experience with chiropractic came following a sports injury, after receiving treatment I was amazed by how quickly I recovered and subsequently developed an interest in the profession. I particularly enjoy working with powerlifters, cross-fitters and athletes. My areas of interest include rehabilitative and corrective exercise solutions, especially for those looking to return to activity or recovering from injury. I gained a lot of experience helping people suffering with chronic pain in my previous practice which I found fulfilling. To develop my skills in this area I undertook further education in the management of those suffering from chronic pain at Keele University. However I enjoy treating all types of injuries and strive to tailor treatment plans to suit each individual patient’s needs. I prefer to use a multidisciplinary approach to care, using chiropractic adjustments, muscle testing, structural joint balancing techniques, kinesiology-taping, functional rehabilitation, ergonomics, posturology, therapeutic and sports massage and dietary advice. In my spare time, I enjoy keeping fit by regularly visiting the gym, hill walking, playing and watching football.
