Sue graduated as a physiotherapist from University College Dublin in 2005 and began her career working hospital rotations in Ireland. During this time she focused on gaining expertise in the areas of rheumatology and neurology and this provided a fantastic foundation of experience for her career in musculoskeletal private practice. In 2007 the travel bug took over and Sue went travelling through South America before finally landing in New Zealand where she began her Sports Physiotherapy career. ‘Living the dream’ she worked as a physiotherapist in a Queenstown ski resort for over 2 years. In New Zealand she also had the opportunity to work with the All Blacks and on the Australasian PGA golf tour. Upon returning back to Ireland Sue decided she should return to further study which is what brought her to London. In 2012 she completed a Masters in Physiotherapy at Kings College. Since finishing her Masters she has worked within South West London as well as working with elite golfers on the European PGA tour. Sue has a tireless passion for helping people and guiding them through their journey of recovery. She has vast experience in treating a wide array of injuries and focuses on treating the cause of the injury rather than just the symptoms. This approach facilitates a speedy recovery for return to pain-free activity (whether that be in high level sports or basic daily living) but also allows Sue to address underlying physical limitations once and for all! Sue believes it is essential to have a good relationship with all members of a patient’s rehabilitation team and has developed great relationships with an extensive network of consultants, local GPs, massage therapists, and personal trainers. Sue is passionate about sport, health and fitness. She has been a part of many teams over the years and understands the frustrations associated with injury and not performing to the best of one’s ability. No condition is too much of a challenge for our Sue!
