Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Acupuncture Musculoskeletal injuries are her area of expertise with a particular interest in sports injuries. She has worked with various sports teams since qualifying – Rugby, hockey and swimming. She worked as a Physiotherapist with Scottish Swimming teams and squads from 1983 until 1991 and was the Physiotherapist with the Scottish Team at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh 1986. From 1989 – 1991 she was involved with the British swimming teams attending major European Competitions.
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Acupuncture Jill has been involved in working with 2 rugby clubs treating injuries.
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Acupuncture Kathryn has training in the Maitland and McKenzie approaches to managing spinal pain, hydrotherapy, orthopaedic medicine, pilates and acupuncture. Over 10 years Kathryn had been involved with the English Women’s Golf Association, now England Golf, in the provision of physical programmes to potentially elite young golfers. Kathryn uses this experience in prescribing fitness programmes to enhance balance, core and scapular control, coordination, flexibility and power, where indicated with any client.
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Acupuncture His main interest is musculoskeletal sporting injuries. He currently works part-time for Carlisle United Football Club as one of their school of excellence physiotherapist and has also gained experience with rugby physiotherapy in the region. He has KT1 and 2 certificates in kinesiology taping methods which he studied at Sheffield and this is one of his specialist areas. He is has a keen interest in cycling and football activities.
