As the clinical director Angela established Head2Toe in 2010 after graduating from Salford University with degree in Sports Rehabilitation. Throughout her degree Angela worked with amateur, semi professional and professional athletes from a range of sports, including football, rugby and numerous professional dance studios within the North West. Angela is a full member for the British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT). For health and social care BASRaT hold an accredited voluntary register through the Professional Standards Authority (PSA) which is set up by the Department of Health and administered by an independent body. This means that our work within sports rehabilitation is accountable to and recognised as a health care profession by Parliament. Since graduating Angela has become a specialist within the musculoskeletal diagnosis and treatment expanding her knowledge into Pilates, Antenatal and Post Natal care and continues to strive to keep up to date with current theories. Angela has been involved with the world of sport and the arts for around 20 years being a fellowship member of the International Dance Teachers Assocition for the last 12 years. Being an ex-professional dancer and now dance teacher, she understands the importance of optimal muscle movement and function. With this in mind Angela developed the clinics fundamental principals treating the patient as a whole person not just a condition.
