Move Well Clinic is now operating a 'Virtual Clinic' service that can be accessed by voice or video call using Skype. Move Well Consultations provide a tailored online service for anyone experiencing problems with pain, injury, strength, balance, or mobility. The service includes individually designed programming that combines exercise training, biomechanics, pain science, movement therapy, and education.

The purpose of these services is to reduce pain symptoms and improve quality of movement. Common issues treated in the clinic include:
- shoulder movement restrictions
- upper and lower backache
- neck pain/stiffness
- hip, knee and/or ankle pain
- joint soreness/stiffness
- elbow and wrist problems
- muscle tension
- balance and strength issues

Your first consultation will include a detailed 'Initial Assessment' with immediate advice regarding treatment (including recommendations for referral to other services if necessary). 'Follow-up' consultations provide you with individually tailored advice and programming. Move Well can also offer individual exercise programming, including advice on ways to work around pain and injury issues.

Fiona Higgs is a Sports and Exercise Therapy practitioner, Sports Therapy Association UK member and Ph.D. graduate in Sport and Exercise Science (Aberystwyth University, UK).
