Carl has been a personal trainer for over 20 years and an injury therapist for the past 3 years. He achieved a first-class BSc (Hons) in Sports rehabilitation and sports therapy in 2020, and he also completed a FdSc in Sports therapy and injury rehabilitation with distinction in 2019, whilst studying with the University of Plymouth . He holds diplomas in personal training, nutrition & weight management and is due to complete a diploma in exercise referral in 2020. Recently he has been a co-author on several scientific research papers, working alongside university of Plymouth lecturers, which are currently under peer review for publication. His work experience includes personal trainer at the 5* Gaia Spa, McCaulay’s Health Clubs and is the owner of 1-1 personal training. He has recently worked with patients diagnosed with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) to enhance their quality of life. And has achieved over 400 hours of clinical experience. Hobbies and interests include keeping fit, walking, sea swimming and spending time with family. He is avid fan of all sports and has worked with world champion kickboxers, British champion boxers, International athletes, professional rugby & football players and several well known personalities. His future goals include completing an MSc in Sports Rehabilitation, setting up an exercise referral scheme, continue research with the University of Plymouth and return to the University this autumn to help support degree students with their studies.
Jordan has been a therapist for five years and obtained a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Sports rehabilitation with sports therapy in 2020, he has completed a FdSc in Sports therapy and sports rehabilitation with merit in 2019, whilst studying with the University of Plymouth He holds a qualification in pitch-side trauma management and has worked with numerous rugby clubs as a head therapist including Ivybridge Rugby Club and most recently Exeter Athletics Rugby Club, and he also completed in excess of 400 clinical hours. His interests are keeping fit and he regularly goes to the gym, he has achieved a Black tag in Taekwondo and won the British sparring championship at the age of 16. While at university he was captain of the Lacrosse team. He is passionate about sport and exercise and is a keen follower of Liverpool FC an enjoys other sports such as UFC, Rugby and Basketball. His future goals are to work in professional sport in particular Formula 1 and would love to travel the world doing what he loves and help people in need.
