Mike is a Soft tissue and Scarwork Specialist with over 10 years experience working with general injuries. Experienced with the general public, Pilates, Gym goers, Martial artists & Runners who have specialised or just run of the mill aches and pains or injuries. Mike has returned from Sheffield’s Invictus Trials, where he was asked to be part of the Volunteer group of Scarwork therapists. Personally treating over 30 competitors over the 3 days he was there for. Mike has been in Martial arts (predominantly Karate) for more than 30 years and is currently a 5th Dan Black Belt and Elite England Referee. Invited to be an Official at many local competitions. He also holds a Dan grade with the World Self Defence Association and currently trains and teaches at the Dojo of the former International 6th Dan Tony Gray, head of Karate Do Federation. He was into his running with 10K’s and half Marathons, his best half marathon time being 93 minutes. Since lockdown he has got back into his jogging. Mike also holds 20 Ice skating certificates in Dance and Basics, qualifying him to Novice grade. Having spent 41 years as an Engineer he now volunteers for Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) advising school and college leavers on their worklife options. Mike maintains a small private client list, but also works for the Medical Industry and the Armed forces.
