Our clinic’s keys to success are to put the patient’s health issues first and work with patients individually to uncover the cause of their problem and come up with a natural and non-invasive evidence based treatment to put them on the path to recovery.
Oliver is a very experienced Osteopath and the founder of The WOW Clinic. He has been an Osteopath since graduating from the European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in 2003. He has worked in various clinics around the South East before establishing his own practice in Westbourne in 2006. Prior to becoming an Osteopath, Oliver worked as a Registered Nurse in various areas of the NHS, including acute trauma, A&E and caring for the terminally ill. He also spent some time as a medical representative in a ski resort, dealing with illness and trauma. Oliver treats babies and children and the older generation into the high 90’s and everyone in between. Oliver recently completed an Ironman; the training schedule for such an endurance competition meant that Oliver had to embrace all aspects of Osteopathy, Sports Therapy and all other complementary therapies that The WOW Clinic offers; to ensure his body was in top condition to complete the Ironman. Outside the treatment room, you will typically find Oliver sailing, windsurfing or cycling.
Kirsty qualified from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO), having previously been a sailor with the British Sailing Team. Injury closed this chapter in her life, whilst at the same time opening up a new one in the world of Osteopathy; after successful treatments led to a deep belief in the benefits and results that Osteopathic treatment can offer many people. At The WOW Clinic, Kirsty is happy to treat all types of musculoskeletal problems with a variety of structural and cranial techniques. Each treatment is individually tailored to each patient and she has special interests in treating children, pregnant women and sports injuries. Kirsty is at The WOW Clinic on Mondays and Fridays and outside of this can be found juggling a young family, and when time allows, enjoying the outdoors; sailing, biking and windsurfing.
Ali trained as a Deep Tissue and Sports Massage Therapist in 2015, and is also a Senior Lecturer in Sport and Physical Education at the University Of Chichester. She is an ex-international hockey player who has an all round general interest in sport and physical activity at all levels. At The WOW Clinic, Ali uses a variety of techniques to relieve soft tissues following ‘trauma’, whether that be a muscular injury following gardening, sports, general wear and tear, picking up children, stress and even shopping! Deep tissue massage is an excellent therapy in helping relieve any aches and pains experienced.
