I qualified in 1999 with a BSc Honors Degree from Teesside University and have worked primarily in the sports medicine and occupational health fields ever since. Working with some of the worlds largest companies such as Nissan and PepsiCo piqued my interest in ergonomics. However smaller endeavours such as a volunteer trip to Romania served to broaden my horizons within the health field. It was working in such varied environments where the importance of flexibility soon became apparent and in 2006 Therapy Direct was born in order to best serve his clients and modern socities needs. Therapy Direct Healthcare has gone from strength to strength forming strong bonds with occupational health providers and now operate an extensive network of therapists as well as our own helping businesses of all sizes nationwide with reactive physiotherapy treatments, proactive interventions such as health promotion and spinal education classes, bespoke training including manual handling, ergonomic work place assessments and musculoskeletal screening. As well as our Corporate services our Private Practice has evolved to include residential visits and Entertainment Medical Services. Clients include the late Sir Bobby Robson and more recently Therapy Direct was chosen to provide physiotherapy for several nationwide tours from artists including Take That, Example, Prodijig, The Killers, Adam Lambert, Il Divo and Bryan Ferry.
