Nick has a passion for providing a high quality, patient-centred approach to care with diversified and functionally based techniques. Having completed courses on dry-needling, rock-taping, Simon King’s muscle testing seminars and Craig Liebenson’s functional approach to chiropractic, Nick has an array of different tools in his toolbox, which he plans to expand considerably throughout his career.
As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Catherine is focused on identifying the underlying neurological, biomechanical or physiological cause of a patient’s complaint and to help fully resolve their condition and restore normal function. Assessing each patient as an individual is central to not only resolving any present underlying issues, but preventing any dysfunction happening in the future too. It is generally accepted that we should eat healthily as a means of preventing heart disease; similarly we should work on our posture and movement to prevent musculoskeletal problems arising.
Dani is trained in Sports Trauma Management and has put this into practice when working part time for a division one men’s rugby team, Llanishen RFC. During this time, she had many opportunities to deal with varying injuries which required prompt and efficient problem solving, both on and off the pitch. Dani enjoys working with sports people and athletes, with a particular focus on sport specific biomechanical assessment and functional movement screening. She uses this to then formulate treatment plans that are goal oriented and unique to her patients through use of functional and tailor made rehabilitation programmes, complimented by hands on therapeutic techniques. Dani is a keen track athlete herself, competing over 400m and 800m at a national standard, with ongoing aspirations and ambitions. She has great enthusiasm for sports injury rehabilitation, and is able to apply her own experiences of recovery from injury and management of training loads to her patients. Having an understanding of the discipline needed to compete at a high standard, as well as being able to appreciate the need to be pain free when training or competing makes Dani a very empathetic and motivated clinician, with a wealth of experience to draw upon and apply according to her patient’s needs
