As a keen runner myself I understand the frustration of injury and of being told to stop activity “to let it settle down” by therapists who don’t have the training, experience or passion to work at keeping you active during your injury.
With my experience built up over 20 years and further specialist training with experts in their sports medicine and injury rehab field I can help you stop having to experience the the frustration I’ve felt in the past of being told to stop exercising.
Some therapist do basic training and are sometimes not good enough to know this isn’t always correct or even necessary to get you back to full strength or even back to sport and activity. This time away makes you lose all the gains you’ve made through the consistency in training.
I work to keep you exercising to reduce strength and conditioning losses. I can also work with your coach or trainer if you have one to make sure that everything you are doing is going to speed your return.
Hi I have over 20 years of treating people with sports related and other injuries. After finding out what's wrong I'll use mutually agreed treatment methods. I use a variety of technique including manipulation of joints and muscles to encourage better, more efficient pain free movement. These methods are also used to try and decrease injury and make you a faster more effective in your chosen sports. Properly directed and prescribed exercise are also chosen just for you to aid you in becoming as bullet proof as I can get you. This gives you an all round treatment that can start addressing the problems, the cause of the problem and limit the likelihood of return.
