Chris Haswell
Is a BASRat accredited graduate sports rehabilitator (GSR) with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Sports and Exercise Rehabilitation from Newcastle College Univercity Centre.
During his studies he has worked with Newcastle Thunder R.L.F.C , while also gaining his RocDoc qualifications (FMT 1 & 2 and IASTM) with RockTape and completing a Level 1 Medical Acupuncture course. He has recently introduced Radial Shockwave therapy into his practice for cutting edge treatments of chronic and acute injuries.
He is currently working towards becoming a John Gibbons Bodymaster Method ® Practitioner.
Chris qualified with a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage from Newcastle College in July 2017.
He is also a Register of Exercise Professionals (REPS) Level 2 Gym instructor, Level 3 Personnel trainer, Kettle Bells, TRX suspension training and a Run England Leader in fell running (LIFR) and a English athletics Trail and fell running coach (CirF). Recently qualifying as a Level 3 Pilates instructor.
He enjoys fitness training and is a keen Ultra runner competing in numerous long distance races from 50 miles up to and including the 268 mile Montane Winter Spine Race in 2017 where he finished in 22nd in 142 hrs.
Previously competed in several triathlons and downhill mountain biking events and enjoys swimming and cycling.
